GPU Mining Rigs & Components Australia — Cards, Frames & PSUs

MinerHub's GPU Miners collection brings together everything you need to build and run a complete GPU mining rig under one roof — graphics cards, open-air frames, mining motherboards, PCIe risers, high-wattage PSUs, and cabling. Instead of sourcing components from five different suppliers, you can spec an entire multi-GPU rig in a single order with consolidated shipping from Perth.

Whether you're building your first 6-GPU rig on HiveOS or expanding a farm with additional frames and power supplies, this collection is designed for the full build. Every component is selected for 24/7 mining durability and compatibility with Australian 240V infrastructure. Browse individual GPUs in our dedicated Mining GPUs collection, or start here if you need the complete package.

Common questions

GPU Miners — FAQ

A complete GPU mining rig requires graphics cards, an open-air aluminium frame, a mining motherboard with enough PCIe slots, a CPU and RAM (minimal specs are fine), one or two high-wattage PSUs, PCIe riser cables (one per GPU), and a USB drive or SSD for the operating system. MinerHub's GPU Miners collection stocks all of these components so you can spec a full build in one order.
A standard GPU mining motherboard supports 6–13 GPUs via PCIe riser connections depending on the board's PCIe slot count. 6-GPU and 8-GPU rigs are most common for manageability and PSU simplicity. Each GPU typically draws 100W–300W depending on model and power limit settings, so careful PSU planning is essential.
Calculate your total GPU power draw and add approximately 150W for the rest of the system. A single high-quality 1600W–2000W server PSU handles most 6-GPU configurations. For high-wattage GPUs or 8+ card rigs, running dual PSUs with a sync adapter is common practice. Never load a PSU above 80% of its rated capacity for continuous 24/7 mining operation.
HiveOS is the most popular choice among GPU miners — it is a Linux-based OS purpose-built for mining that provides remote monitoring, overclocking controls, and automatic algorithm switching from a web dashboard. It is free for a single rig and supports AMD and NVIDIA GPUs. Windows with mining software like T-Rex or lolMiner is an alternative if you want dual-use gaming and mining capability.
MinerHub does not currently sell pre-assembled rigs, but our GPU Miners collection stocks every component needed to build one — GPUs, frames, risers, PSUs, motherboards, and cabling. This gives you full control over your build spec and budget. Our team can help you plan a complete rig build matched to your target hashrate and electricity budget.
Yes. Open-air mining frames use standard PCIe riser connections that work with any AMD or NVIDIA GPU regardless of brand or model. The GPU mounts horizontally on the frame's rails and connects to the motherboard via a USB 3.0 riser cable. MinerHub stocks frames sized for 6 to 12 GPU configurations that are compatible with full-size and compact graphics cards.
