Mining GPUs for Sale Australia — GPU Crypto Mining Rigs

GPU mining remains relevant for algorithms that resist ASIC dominance, and MinerHub stocks the graphics cards and complete GPU mining rig components to get you operational fast. High-performance GPUs from AMD and NVIDIA deliver flexible mining capability — switch algorithms as profitability shifts without locking into single-purpose hardware. From entry-level cards for beginners to high-VRAM units suited to memory-intensive algorithms, our GPU range covers every tier.

Building a GPU mining rig in Australia requires more than just cards — you need the right PSU, riser cables, and open-air frame to run multiple GPUs safely at load 24/7. MinerHub stocks complete rig build components alongside individual GPUs, making it easy to spec a full setup in one order. All GPUs are tested before dispatch from our Perth warehouse.

Common questions

Mining GPUs — FAQ

GPU mining profitability depends heavily on the algorithm and coin being mined. Following Ethereum's move to proof-of-stake, GPU miners shifted to coins like Ergo (Autolykos), Ravencoin (KawPow), and Flux (ZelHash) that remain ASIC-resistant. GPUs offer flexibility — you can switch algorithms as coin profitability shifts, unlike single-purpose ASIC hardware. High-VRAM GPUs (8GB+) maintain the most options.
For most current GPU-minable coins, 8GB VRAM is the practical minimum — several algorithm DAG files have grown beyond 6GB, making older 6GB cards unable to mine them. 10GB and 12GB GPUs provide more longevity as DAG sizes continue to grow. For memory-intensive algorithms or future-proofing, 16GB+ cards offer the most flexibility.
A standard GPU mining motherboard supports 6–13 GPUs via PCIe riser connections depending on the board's PCIe slot count. 6-GPU and 8-GPU rigs are most common for manageability and PSU simplicity. Each GPU typically draws 100W–300W depending on model and power limit settings, so careful PSU planning is essential.
MinerHub stocks both individual GPUs and all components to build a complete rig — open-air frames, PCIe risers, server-grade PSUs, and GPU-mining optimised motherboards. We do not currently sell pre-assembled complete rigs, but our product range covers everything needed to build one. Our team can help you spec a full rig build for your target hashrate and budget.
