The MicroBT WhatsMiner M30S is a proven SHA-256 workhorse, delivering 90 to 94 terahashes per second depending on the specific batch variant. Built on Samsung's 8nm process node with 444 ASIC chips across three hash boards (148 chips per board), the M30S achieves a strong efficiency range of 34–38 joules per terahash — making it a cost-effective choice for both entry-level and expanding mining operations.

Like all modern WhatsMiner units, the M30S ships with a built-in 3500W PSU mounted flat on top of the chassis. The redesigned flat-profile PSU sits 15mm lower than earlier Whatsminer generations, reducing overall rack height. Wide AC input of 200–277V covers Australian 240V single-phase supplies and international industrial circuits without any step-down transformer required.

The M30S is straightforward to deploy: connect power and Ethernet, log into the web interface via browser, enter your pool credentials, and you're hashing Bitcoin within minutes. The H3 control board handles thermal management and fan control automatically, keeping the machine within its safe operating window of –5°C to 40°C ambient.
