The ASRock H510 PRO BTC+ is a purpose-engineered mining motherboard built for one job: running as many graphics cards as possible from a single board with maximum stability under continuous 24/7 mining loads. Its extended non-standard form factor — 501 × 224 mm — houses six reinforced PCIe 3.0 x16 slots plus a dedicated USB mining port (M_Port1), allowing up to seven graphics cards simultaneously. This is the highest GPU capacity available from a single consumer motherboard in its class.
The PCIe slot configuration is intentional for mining: PCIE1 operates at full x16 bandwidth for the primary GPU or system function, while PCIE2–6 run at x1 bandwidth — sufficient for mining algorithms that rely on GPU compute rather than PCIe bandwidth, as GPU mining workloads do not saturate even x1 bandwidth for hashrate transfer. The additional M_Port1 USB mining port adds the 7th slot via a USB-type x1 riser kit. Wide slot spacing allows direct GPU installation without riser cables for maximum mechanical stability, or standard PCIe x1 riser kits for extended open-frame configurations.
Smart PCIe State Detection is an ASRock innovation critical for mining rigs: the POST screen displays live GPU install status across all slots, enabling operators to instantly identify disconnected, failed, or misdetected GPUs without physically inspecting each riser cable. This is particularly valuable for automated monitoring in unmanned mining setups. Dual 24-pin ATX power connectors plus a fully independent power rail maintain voltage stability when the board is simultaneously powering 6–7 high-draw graphics cards — a design consideration absent from standard consumer motherboards.
ASRock Super Alloy construction uses 50A premium power chokes, a sapphire black PCB, and high-density glass fabric for moisture and humidity resistance — relevant for mining environments that may experience temperature cycling. Intel Gigabit LAN provides stable wired connectivity for pool communication and remote management. Onboard power and reset buttons are essential for open-frame builds where no chassis power switch exists. Compatible with all Intel 10th and 11th Gen LGA1200 CPUs including budget Celeron options for low-cost build configurations.
